Students from Lathom conquered their nerves and stage fright on Wednesday evening to perform in front of a packed Arts Theatre in Lathom’s first ever Creative Arts Showcase. Compiled and directed by Miss Sullivan and Miss Berry, the programme was one of real variety, featured students from all years and took the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions. Our performers sang their hearts out, as soloists, in bands and in our newly formed school choir. They played piano, guitar and drums and performed an innovative and entertaining drama piece written and directed by Y10 students Leah Connolly and Teagan Powell. The staff and cast were brilliantly supported with lighting and sound by Mark Ashton and the staff from the Artz Centre, adding a really professional touch to the evening. There was so much talent on display and the cast really did put on a show to be PROUD of.
