PROUD Day 21 October

Thursday 21 October was our first PROUD day of the year and students are taking part in a variety of activities

YEAR 7

They where learning about Online Safety. They developed their understanding of what their digital footprint is, what actions they can take to keep themselves safe online and how they can enjoy using social media safely and responsibly without oversharing or treating others badly.

YEAR 8

Learnt about Tolerance and Understanding. They developed their understanding of their place in the world, learning about world religions and other cultures and considering the importance of tolerance, kindness and empathy. They visited Liverpool as part of their PROUD day.

YEAR 9

Learnt about mental health and wellbeing. They also looked ahead and starting to consider their careers and GCSE Options pathways.

They also looked at the effects of social media on teenage mental health, how they can keep themselves safe online, and how they can enjoy using social media safely and responsibly without oversharing or treating others badly.
